Vision
To see the house of God prepared with excellence and reverence, creating an inviting, spirit-filled, and orderly atmosphere where all who enter encounter God’s presence, experience His beauty, and are drawn to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Mission
To serve God by ensuring the sanctuary and church premises are kept in a state of excellence(spiritually and physically) through dedicated preparation, organization, cleanliness, and beautification. Sanctuary Keepers create an environment that fosters worship, reflection, and communion with God by setting up, decorating, and maintaining the church space with joy, diligence, and humility.
Aims and Objectives
- Spiritual Stewardship: Understanding that the church is God’s dwelling place, Sanctuary Keepers approach their service as a form of worship, ensuring that every chair, altar, and decoration speaks of God’s excellence and inspires reverence among the congregation.
- Preparation for Worship: By ensuring the sanctuary is orderly, welcoming, and beautifully prepared, the ministry helps to set the tone for worshippers to experience God without distraction, creating an atmosphere conducive to prayer, praise, and the ministry of the Word.
- Aesthetic and Environmental Excellence: Through thoughtful decoration and set-up for services, programs, and events, the ministry uses creativity and orderliness to reflect the beauty of God’s kingdom in the physical space.
- Mentorship and Discipleship: Sanctuary Keepers also mentor new volunteers, nurturing a heart of service, discipline, and reverence, helping them see every task as ministry unto God and an opportunity to grow in their faith and stewardship.
